Projects
Hadra Rave is a new project emerging from the artistic encounter between Seba Kayan and Orwa Saleh. Both artists are already well established in Austria and abroad with their solo projects. The Vienna-based DJ, producer, and artist Seba Kayan combines hypnotic techno with oriental rhythms and archival sound research in her sets. Syrian oud player Orwa Saleh transforms the ancient tradition of Arabic music with improvisational power and contemporary influences.
The Hadra – a collective ritual of musical and dance ecstasy – is rooted in many Sufi traditions and familiar to both artists through their cultural background. With Hadra Rave, they take up this idea and merge electronic club music with traditional live instruments into a contemporary form of trance. Seba Kayan and Orwa Saleh combine electronic beats with the expressive power of the oud, creating a soundscape that resonates both in clubs and on concert stages. Their interplay unfolds a transcultural musical experience that transcends boundaries, reimagines tradition, and draws the audience into a collective flow.

Jam El Joy
An extraordinary music duo takes the stage: "Jam el Joy" blends traditional sounds with contemporary fusion.
The meeting of Orwa Saleh and Özlem Bulut on the multicultural stage led to a creative explosion. Their joint musical project, "Jam el Joy," combines the rich tones of the Oud with the lyrical power of vocals. Original compositions and electronic elements flow into their music, adding a refreshing, bold, and new oriental touch, with some psychedelic elements that further deepen the sound experience.
Ensemble
Assembled by the Syrian Oud player and composer Orwa Saleh, this project is an expression of the new Austrian culture as a home of hope and diversity.
Musicians from Syria, Iran, and Austria are greathearted to lead
a magical journey into the world of music, words, and poems.
The elegant female voice of Basma Jabr telling stories from Syria to Mahan Mirarab's Guitar, who evokes the Persian spirit to put it in the balance of Sebastian Simsa and the deep beautiful sound of Judith Ferstl's Bass, surrounded all by the magical Oud that turned this project into a choreographed dance of warm melodies and thoughts.

Music In Touch
It is the longtime collaboration between the Austrian pianist Christoph Cech and the Syrian Oud player Orwa Saleh that makes this friendship visible on stage. They combine the well-tempered instrument, the piano, with the Oud and all its quartertones containing Maqqams. The trio MIT – Music in Touch, is Christoph Cech and Orwa Saleh with the brilliant improviser Andreas Schreiber on the violin. Through their music they take the audience on an unforgettable journey.
